BEHIND EVERY FOUNDATION ARE ADMIRABLE PEOPLE WORKING WITH DEDICATION AND TIRELESS COMMITMENT, QUIETLY WEAVING THE CHANGE THE WORLD NEEDS.
THE LAST ICE MERCHANT OF CHIMBORAZO
Juan Uscha, son-in-law of Baltazar — who was, in his time, the last ice harvester of Chimborazo — is now the last person in Ecuador still dedicated to this tradition. Unfortunately, it is not a well-paid activity, and efforts are being made to support him financially so that this practice does not disappear.

PUEBLO INDIO DEL ECUADOR FOUNDATION
Since 1988, the Pueblo Indio del Ecuador Foundation has been supporting indigenous communities in their educational, cultural, and social development. Its approach combines the defense of rights with the promotion of cultural identity, especially among youth, women, and the elderly. Through scholarships, workshops, and publications, they strengthen the education and cultural roots of indigenous peoples, following the legacy of Monsignor Leonidas Proaño, a tireless advocate for these communities.

THE PROJECT WE SUPPORT

"Let's help our elders"
An initiative aimed at delivering food and medicine to low-income elderly people. The collection supporting this project is 'Cotopaxi Volcano - An impossible sunset'.
SEMBRANDO ESPERANZA FOUNDATION
The Sembrando Esperanza Foundation works in Ecuador promoting reforestation and the restoration of natural ecosystems. They involve communities, families, and businesses in concrete activities to recover degraded areas, plant native trees, and protect biodiversity. In addition to driving direct actions on the ground, they also educate about environmental care and foster partnerships to multiply the impact. Their approach is simple yet powerful: regenerating nature through the active participation of people.

THE PROJECTS WE SUPPORT

Reforestation campaigns
The foundation carries out several reforestation projects in Quito and areas near the capital. The collection supporting this initiative is 'Cotopaxi Volcano – An Impossible Sunset.'

Construction of the Interpretation Center in Tambo Cóndor
Currently, the foundation is fundraising to build an interpretation center for condors near Pintag, specifically in front of Laguna de Secas, one of the few condor nesting sites in Ecuador. The collection supporting this initiative is 'Cotopaxi Volcano – An Impossible Sunset'.
